About the Chef
I am a rapidly aging mother with two daughters, 9 and almost 13. The almost 13 year old is here, home sick, correcting me as I type. She gets like that….she is about to pour a drink on my head. Duly noted…don’t type about the kids (at least when they are watching!) I am married to a true multi-tasker who has his own architectural firm, is an adjunct professor, and then cooks/bartends here at the restaurant. The guy can poach an egg like I have never seen. I swear it’s the logic side of him that constructs an omelette as masterfully as he does.
I used to be a financial analyst until I left my job to have my children and decided that I couldn’t go back to corporate. One day I saw an opportunity to buy a little breakfast place in my neighborhood, so a chef was born. Then I lost my lease while fighting with my landlady and my customers sent me to the Inn. It was an old abandoned inn in the town with a restaurant, ballroom, and bad reputation. We are trying to revive the old spirit of the inn, bring something fun to the pretty dead town we live in, and enjoy fresh flavors, homemade, and uncanned bounty of the earth.
